Hello Specials! This is my first BLOG and I feel pretty good about it. I have no idea if any of you will read this but its worth a shot.

PLC 11/10/08

Kathy and I are working to update our curriculum for the new Personal Finance mandate. We have created what we believe are strong benchmarks and power level indicators using a variety of materials we have found on the web and workshops we attended.

10/20/2008 PLC Meeting

We are updating the PortaPortal website we created for the students -- making it more professional looking and more user friendly. We are also adding more websites so that the students have access to a variety of business web pages/information for our classes. Kathy is also preparing for her presentation on in-service day on the PortaPortal site.

Continued to develop Portaportal.com links for use in classes.

10/13/2008 PLC Meeting

Kathy and I created a web site for our students that is live called Porta Portal -- here is the site: http://www.portaportal.com. Students can log in with AHS_Business. Password: Greenmen

It has curriculum links on the site and we have been working to update the links and give the students more options within our classes.
